Don't know if you got my email but the Chuma Vase from S. America shows the Righting of the Pillar Ceremony by two Black Men with that 23* Angle.

The source for that was a really interesting book called the Lost Colonies of America by Frank Joseph who, basically, took America BC by Barry Fell and expounded upon it. Really cool book.

Gary OsbornHi David, that's interesting. Do you have an image of that? Not sure if this is the one I'm thinking of.

David Hill  You might be interested to know that, were you to go back to the time in question for the Pole Shift (circa 3500 BC) and right the earth back to a zero degree Axis the Pole Star would be the little known Nebula called the Cat's Eye. This is the Egyptian Eye of Horus which became the All Seeing Eye of God. Alot of interesting things can be discovered if people were to realize that the Pole Shift occured in Mankind's History. For instance, the author of Hamlet's Mill actually got it completely wrong. The Millstone was originally referring to the stars revolving around this Pole Star and only subsequently applied to precession.

Gary Osborn  It's OK David, Mercury has been retrograde for weeks - only began moving forward again today - so better communication is back on again. Yes that's the one and yes the spear/staff is close to 23 degrees. The older the sources are the angle is usually around 23 degrees instead of 23.5*. What is the source of the words "Righting of the Pillar Ceremony"? Is that from Frank Joseph?

David Hill  That's probably my terminology from your work. It was necessary to 'right the pillar' after the Pole Shift - this is Horus Fighting the Ox Leg - Horus lost his eye for a time but eventually got it back - i.e. they found a new Pole Star which, then, turned out to be Thuban in Draco. Masonry records this Pole Shift. The Tsunami from the Pole Shift destroyed the Cyclopian Wall at Baalbek which allowed the "people from the east" to flood into Egypt (orignal garden of Eden) leading to the death of Osiris.

David Hill  In Masonry the Sign of the Master of the First Veil is the one that I believe records the Pole Shift and uses the Stick at that 23* Angle. They say it was from Moses casting his staff down on the ground (when it turned into a snake) and then picking it back up again. Well, when they actually perform the sign they don't actually throw the stick on the ground, they just extend it at arms length (i.e. 23*'s) and then bring it back to their side - they are 'righting the pillar' - I think that is where I came up with that phrase which was a spinoff of what the ceremony displayed was actually called. It is my contention that this was already a sign in Masonry which Moses used at the Red Sea and which, then, resulted in another Pole Shift which parted the Red Sea.

Gary Osborn  David, you mean that the "cat's eye" nebula is important because it is close to the ecliptic center. Yes, that's the theory; that the earth's axis and pole of the ecliptic were once aligned which would mean the axis would have been pointing at the 'ecliptic center' close to the "cat's eye" nebula. Then the axis titled - well again that's the theory.

David Hill  More than a theory in my opinion - its pretty much a fact from what my studies are showing - i.e. that the Cat's Eye Nebula was the 'Pole Star' which all the temples in Egypt up to Medium were oriented to but then, for some strange reason, they stopped orienteering the the Temples to true North and started aligning them due east and west (using the, now occurring, equinoxes and solstices). The 'righting of the pillar' ceremony comes from the Stretching of the Cord Ceremony which Sitchin brought to the world's attention in his books. The earliest form of the Stretching of the Cord Ceremony can be found on the reverse side of Narmer's Palatte where the servants are 'stretching the cord' of the necks of the two Serpotards (which form the symbol of Ra, the sun). A lot of changes occurred in the entire religious world view of Egypt at this very time (which coincides with the Piorra Oscillation - i.e. the "sudden desertification of the Sahara" as the Geoclimatologists are want to call it) - Osiris used to journey up to the heavens but now he journies to the underworld - they used to bury the dead facing the rising sun (Rise and Fall of Ancient Egypt by Toby Wilkinson) but then started burying them facing the setting sun (Muller, Myth. of all Races, Vol. XII) - they used to spend an exorbitant amount of money for mummification but now the almost abandoned the practice (Wilkinson) and, previous to this time, a trip to heaven was only for the Pharaoh but now 'salvation' was, in a sense, opened up to everyone (ibid). Knowing the tenacity of Religious Traditions in general then there must have been a massive world wide event that led to such drastic and all embracing changes in the Egyptians world view and about the only thing that fits all the facts was this Pole Shift.

Gary Osborn  Yes got all that David and I would agree with much of that and I need to absorb it properly to see how it fits with what I have come to understand. Just want to add this to see how this fits your view and if we can come to a better understanding here.
My own view is that the polestar at the time when the axis first fell away from the ecliptic center (again theory) was Eltanin (“head of the serpent”) of the Draco constellation - also known as the "Dragon's Eye" star, and this was also astronomer, Sir Norman Lockyer's view that it was the polestar c. 10,500 BCE - some 12,500 years ago - half a precessional cycle ago.

David Hill  As far as Eltanin that could be (but for the Egyptians it would have been a Hippo, not Dragon) and doesn't adversely affect my own conclusions. The Guardians of the Pole Star were the little dipper which, after the shift, became the Bull's Leg (Sitchin will tell you that this was because the Age of Taurus had been cut short) but before it was called the Club or the Striker (Muller) which was used for pounding in the Sighting Stake for aligning the Temples to the Pole Star. The Circumpolar Stars were drawn by the Egyptians as a Star within a circle and this is the Star of Masonry especially the one that they display on the Keystone.

Now, in the Egyptian Dendarrah Zodiac they have the Bull's Leg right beside a Fox on a Plowshare but what no one has noticed is that the Plowshare is upside down. This was done to emphasize the Pole Shift and there you have, once again, that 23*'s clearly represented - once it is pointed out to you.

Here is the Zodiac : http://solariapublications.files.wordpress.com/.../jpeg...

solariapublications.files.wordpress.com

The Plow was used in one of the Foundation Ceremonies for a New Temple and is probably what is depicted on the Scorpion Mace Head (which is probably Narmer).

Gary Osborn  OK, now I am interested in that - the hawk or falcon-headed god spearing the Bull or leg - which many have said is Ursa Major, the Big Dipper or Great Bear and for reasons I will reveal later.

The god divides the seven stars of the constellation with his spear which is said to symbolise the Meridian - and he divides them into 4 on one side and 3 on the other. OK, this requires some processing.

Note that Scepter in her hand and note how similar it looks to the one depicted in Masonry - guess where that came from? When the first person went to build the first temple (Egyptologists will tell you that was Osiris) he first had to find the Pole Star and the quickest and easiest way was simply to look up through the Branches of a Palm Tree and you would have been able to find the Pole Star at night within about an hour. He then noticed that the Palm Tree would send out a Spear Leaf straight up in the air (pointing man back to God) and that Spear Leaf was then cut off and became the Scepter in Sesheta (and Masons) hands. This same Scepter can be found as one of Min's Heraldic Crests and that is the same guy we call Amin.

Let me give ya another one - you know where the Obelisk comes from ? Weeelll, with the original Pole Star, the Sun would have passed directly through the horns of Taurus the Bull which, itself, would have risen due east straight up in the air forming that very Obelisk in the Stars.

David Hill  Gary said, "My own view is that the polestar at the time when the axis first fell away from the ecliptic center (again theory) was Eltanin (“head of the serpent”) of the Draco constellation - also known as the "Dragon's Eye" star, and this was also astronomer, Sir Norman Lockyer's view that it was the polestar c. 10,500 BCE - some 12,500 years ago - half a precessional cycle ago." The problem with this view, for me, is that, from a Young Earth Creationist point of view, the earth wasn't here in 10K BC so it would not have been the 'Pole Star'. Alot of people like that 10K BC date proposed by Hamlet's Mill but it is untenable from the archeological evidence - for instance, Lockyer dated some of the Temples in Edfu in Upper Egypt to 6K BC however, he was using the wrong star and when you use Phact (Horus who the Temples at Edfu were dedicated to) you arrive at the 3600 BC date. The same can be said for the Sphinx - point is it has a known carving date circa 3K BC.

The War between Horus and Set would indicate that the Eye of Horus was the Pole Star and that it was 'lost' to Set which may have been Eltanin or Theuban.

David Hill  Well, this is the only point we disagree on due to my Creationism - point is the Creators (which, interestingly enough, both Egypt and Mesopotamia stated was a Triad) would have created the Solar System in perfect (pristine) condition - i.e. 0* Axis and their orbits around the sun would have been perfectly circular (Venus' still is but all the rest are off center) so it becomes a moot point, for me, as to what may have happened 26,000 years ago - I would reiterate that we don't have any archeological support for that period of time and thus it becomes mere conjecture. For instance, some say the paintings on the caves of Lascaux, France date back 40,000 years (which is actually absurd if one really thought about it) but this is proven incorrect (the radio carbon dating of exposed material is consistently inaccurate) simply because one of those cave paintings depict the constellations of Taurus, Pleiades, Orion and the Duck at Orion's side and that could only have come from the Egyptian Zodiac circa 3600 BC and certainly not 40 K BC.

Let me throw this at ya - Zep Tepi was brought to everyone's attention by Bauval who wants to place it around 10K BC or so and yet, the first use of this phrase, called "The First Time of Osiris" actually occurs on Den's Ivory Sandal Ornament as the "First Time of Fighting the People from the East (Eg. Hieroglyphs for Complete Beginners by Bill Manley) which is conclusively dated to around 3K BC. In other words, the 'myths' of the Egyptians are not of some nebulous period of time in remote antiquity but, in fact, just like the Pole Shift in Mankind's recorded history. If you look at the description of Djoser in Egypt you will see that he is described accomplishing the very things that Osiris accomplished - i.e. Djoser is Osiris. Mankind, like the Dinosaurs in the Fossil Record, spring up on the scene fully formed and functional and of the highest quality circa 4K BC and have only deteriorated in quality (i.e. architecture and linguistics, etc.) since that time.

What you need to keep in mind, which I discovered in this set of studies, is that, originally, there were two competing civilizations on the earth - Egypt and Mesopotamia. Egypt taught a Resurrection and Judgment and Mesopotamia taught a Reincarnation and Evolution. Every culture on the planet comes from one of those two competing systems. Egypt was God's Kingdom and the original Garden of Eden and Mesopotamia was the location of the cursed lineage that slandered God from the beginning. Its first ruler, Alalu, as Lucifer.

The Well Shaft that Gilgamesh went Pearl Diving into to get to the Tree of Life is actually the Well Shaft in the Great Pyramid that leads to the Grotto - that is where the Tree of Life Grew. One of the names of one of the locations in the Nile Delta was actually called, "The House of the Tree" (Eg. Book of the Dead, Papyrus of Ani by Wallis Budge) - Osiris built the Pyramid over the Tree to guard it - reason being is that if someone were to partake of the Tree of Life in an unrepentant condition he would be 'locked' into that condition and unable to repent.

The Gilgamesh Epic is actually Cain's account of the death of Able (Enki Du).

The Masons were the Mesniu (Sons) of Horus - the IU ending is plural and thus written as Mesns = Masons. They were recruited via Masonry to help Osiris protect the Tree when the Angels "left their first estate."

Thought you might be interested in this latest find : the 23* Angel occurs (twice) in the Egyptian 'Light bulb' Hieroglyph : The 'Light bulb' is at 23* and the Pillar is 23* off Center (from perpendicular). In Egypt the Lotus (from where the 'ligh tbulb' springs from) was a symbol of the sun and, thus, the 'light bulb' is just an elongated symbol of the sun. The snake in the bulb is referring to the sun's dance around the ecliptic exactly the same as the Caduceus (per Manly Hall, Secret Teachings) which occurs in archaic form on Narmer's Palatte which gives us a reasonable date for the Pole Shift. Before the shift, of course, the Sun didn't dance around the Ecliptic but always rose due east and set due west. Thus, it is possible that this is the same for the Uraeus - i.e. it was created after, and in response to, the Pole Shift.
