The Sign of the Male Child

And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the Sun and the Moon and the Eleven Stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your Mother and your Brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to you to the earth...

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the Sun, and the Moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of Twelve Stars. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And she brought forth a Male Child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne...

Since I have this linked to several posts and can't remember which ones, I will just summarize a couple of things here.

From the verses themselves, when we let Scripture interpret itself, it is obvious that the Sun must be a father figure in Israel during the tribulation, the Moon must be a mother figure. These two together are assuredly referring to the two witnesses - Moses who was a father figure at the founding of the Theocracy, and Elijah who was a mother figure in Israel at the revival of the Theocracy - very similarly to G. Washington and A. Lincoln for America. And thus, per the original symbolism, the 12 stars are symbolical of the 12 Sons of Israel and can only be, contextually, the 144,000. This leaves the Male Child to be the 13th star and son and can only be referring to the tribe of Ephraim - America, the 13th son of Israel, which itself makes this Male Child the Only Son of Ephraim. This last statement is proven when we realize that this dream/vision/sign/blessing, was originally given to Joseph and, therefore, its fulfillment will be realized in one of his descendants, and that from his (and Israel's - Jer 30-33) firstborn son Ephraim.

Next, this Sign is actually referring to when the Sun is in mid Virgo and the Moon at her feet which is the New Moon of the Seventh or Eighth Month, depending upon the leap year. This is also the same time as the Rainy Season, Plowing and Sowing Season, Migration Season, Tabernacles, the Wine Harvest etc and is very possibly the time when the Rapture will occur and the start of the Birth Pains of the Tribulation.

Further, Psalm 2 is applied to Y'shua by the Apostles (Acts 4:25), but Y'shua himself also applies it to one of the overcomers from the Church of Thyatira (Rev 2:27). Who this overcomer is, is then clarified in the following verses from here in Revelation 12 :

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne...

That this is not referring to Y'shua 2,000 years ago is easily gleaned from the internal outline of the book of Revelation itself where John is commanded to write "the things he had seen" which is chapter one of Revelation, then, "the things which are" which is the letters to the Churches where are symbolical of the entire Church age, and then, "the things which shall be hereafter" which is that clarified for us in 4:1 where John specifically states, "After this" confirming the internal outline. Therefore, all the material recorded from 4:1 to the end of the book is referring to the "things that shall be hereafter" the Church Age. In other words, Revelation 12 looks no further back in time that 4:1.

This is also confirmed by Y'shua who called the first half of the tribulation the "beginning of sorrows" and, using the Word to interpret itself, must be referring to the birth pains of the Male Child of chapter 12 and not to Y'shua's first Advent or Ascension.

Further proof is gleaned from Isaiah who records the birth of these two Male Childs, as I listed in my post Their Only Son, at the link above.

This Male Child, then, must be the "Stick of Judah" and the "Stick of Ephraim" that becomes one in the Lord's Hand (Ezekiel 37 - where Y'hava is Y'shua), in the end times, before the tribulation and its resultant battle of Armageddon with Gog and Magog, at which time the Children of Israel shall "appoint themselves one Leader" and they shall come up into the Land (the regathering of Israel) for "Great will be the Day of Jezreel" (sown of God). This also, then, makes him the Angel of the Apocalypse (Sown of God = Son of God through adoption at the Rapture), as he appears in chapter 1 and the end of the book.

This, then, is the Male Child of the Apocalypse who, in direct submission to Y'shua ben Y'hava, will Rule the World with a Rod of Iron...
