The Basket Case Bitch from Babylon

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, 'Come and see', and I beheld and LO a black horse, and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand, and I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, 'A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny and see that you hurt not the oil or the wine...

The Ephah was the Basket of Commerce and this indicates that the woman's rise to power will be via controlling the world's commerce and specifically that commerce that relates to Food.

Just you wait and see what happens when the Breadbasket of the world is under attack from our enemies and no food is being exported to the rest of the world and see what happens to the people of the world who are subsequently forced to take the mark of the beast for that penny a day for food.

This is subsequently reinforced by chapter 13 of Revelation as well as chapters 17-18. It will be through the scarcity of food that they will try and enslave the world through the mark of the beast program. My homeless brethren can relate to this very well.

Interestingly enough, after Cain received his mark, he also had problems getting food to eat, for the ground was cursed for him. And, in theory, if we were to expand this out all the way, if Cain were to become the world ruler (i.e. the Antichrist), that would make the entire world agriculturally unproductive.

Yet another reason why it is called the Great Tribulation...
